Im currently struggling to read Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas. Its not a complex read, and its a very short play. What i am having trouble with is the fact I can only really read it on the way to work, on the 54 bus. The style and way in which Thomas writes is both graphic and poetic, but as a piece it is written for radio. The easiest way to read any play is out loud and with others...both of these conditions are absent on a damp and traffic bound red bus.
